Cafe, aperitifs and much more

Caffè Letterario is a renowned bar in Pontremoli, located in Piazza della Repubblica.

Founded by the owners Roberto and Federica in 2013 with the aim of creating an intercultural space where the pleasure of reading is combined with coffee, they were aiming for an approachable concept that goes beyond the typical idea of a meeting place and relaxation.

The Caffè Letterario wants above all to be a cultural place where conversations and exchanges of ideas take place, where conviviality, excellent service and, above all, the pleasure of eating well come together.

Open every day of the week, the cafe offers the opportunity to satisfy all tastes in a unique environment, with a wide range of catering from morning to evening, through its cafeteria, artisan gelato parlour, as well as lunches, brunches, snacks. and aperitifs that include a wide and varied choice of Italian and international cocktails.

At the Caffè Letterario for lunch it is possible to taste local products in a place where you feel at home, in a warm, simple and relaxed atmosphere:

  • platters with cured meats and cheeses from Tuscany and Lunigiana;
  • salads;
  • capresi.

An essential bar for Pontremoli nights, the Caffè Literario offers cultural programmes that include the organisation of small entertainment events, such as evenings of music, shows and book presentations.

In addition, a fiction competition for short stories is held in the restaurant: 'Fogli Sparsi', or Scattered Sheets.

Registration is free and is open to all those who want to explore their work with other writers, offering participants the opportunity to have their works read.
